Journey

I’ve had the privilege of traveling from an early age, this has enriched my cultural knowledge, taught me the art of social integration and instilled value for the world. If you are not reading any further, know this nugget: ‘Life is beautiful !’ for its diversity, perfections and imperfections combined.

I’ve learnt to learn things. What I’ve learnt is that when with anything; a focus or life as a whole, basics are a gateway. Often easy and joyous if its matter aligns with your intrinsic pursuit. When it does, stick with it, for you belong and ahead comes the fun part. But before that comes imbibing and executing which takes conscious relentless daily effort. In one regard that I’ve been lucky is initiative. It has come to me naturally from an early age, along with a flare for oratory expression. Professionally I remain a parliamentary debater, political analyst, scuba instructor, entrepreneur and software developer.

As of today my professional core is involved in delivering next-generation IT products from Concept ➡️ R&D ➡️ MVP ➡️ Deployment. I work hands-on with clouds, languages & frameworks such as AWS, GCP, Python, JavaScript, Django, React, NextJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elixir, React Native & Flutter. Reading documentation and testing bleeding edge technologies such as OpenAI APIs, Model Training, Computer Vision along with exploring open-source initiative via GitHub & HuggingFace is happiness to me.

When not in front of a screen, I am a certified PADI and SSI scuba instructor, with a passion for the outdoors and adventure. I equally enjoy long distance drives/rides, high altitude Himalayan treks and some islands.

For more than a decade I’ve started & sustained in bootstrapped fashion companies such as goAndamans – that is a travel portal for the Andaman Islands, Outback Resorts – a hospitality venture that offers experiential boutique stays and Astra Techz – leads technology consulting & development. Seemingly by now, I have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify market trends, create innovative products, and monetise them. Also a fluent orator, a strategic thinker, and a relationship builder, with skills in public speaking, team building, and sales.

As an unfettered optimist at heart, I find joy in my own company and sanity in my thoughts. This I am grateful for the most.

I am diving deeper into technology, businesses and the sea, applying myself to different realms – creating value. In a world where solutions are needed, window of opportunity is everywhere yet closing faster than before, I chug along unleashed.
